Executive Summary
The community of Canaan Heights plans to develop a park on land contributed as part of the subdivision
requirements of the Municipality of the County of Kings. The land is highly valued by the community and is
already used informally by the community for trails, open space and nature appreciation. With the goal to begin construction in 2010, the Canaan Heights Neighbourhood Association decided a Park Development Plan was required.
